Birdseeds Unchanged to EasierVANCOUVER - Jul 25/08 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets were unchanged to easier in limited trading activity across the past week. White proso millet ended the week unchanged in both dealer and grower markets. By contrast, oil-type sunflower markets again declined in line with a general drop in oilseed values, caused by an apparent migration of cash from commodities back to stocks. Confectionary sunflower was unchanged on the week, with new crop bids maintaining a wide premium to spot because of a tighter overall supply situation for the coming season.
