Indian Demand Supports PeasVANCOUVER - Jul 18/08 - SNS -- North American field peas markets finished the week's trading on a strong note, helped by strong buying interest out of India. So far this month two state trading companies have tendered for a total of 260,000 metric tons (MT) of whole yellow peas. Of the total, 160,000 MT was strictly Canadian and 100,000 MT was U.S. and/or Canadian origin product.
