Easier Note in Birdseed IngredientsVANCOUVER - Jul 11/08 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets finished the week's trading on a generally easier note against a general easing in field crop markets. The first weather market of the year of generally out of the way, with seeding of the year's crop wrapping up in the United States and Canada. Short term weather outlooks are fair, with a mixed precipitation outlook for Saskatchewan but below normal rainfall expected in much of the U.S. midwest. Soil moisture reserves across much of the canaryseed growing area ear expected to slip further in the coming week, while some lentil growers could see an improvement in water available for crop development the last half of July.
