Canadian Egg Production Slips
OTTAWA - Jun 10/08 - SNS -- Egg production in Canada posted its fourth consecutive year over year decrease in April, according to the latest data from Statistics Canada.
Egg production was estimated at 47.1 million dozen in April, down 0.7% from April 2007.
Poultry meat production reached 100.7 million kilograms in April, up 6.9% from April 2007.
