Few Changes in Birdseed IngredientsVANCOUVER - May 30/08 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets were little changed in light trade during the past week. White proso millet growers bids in the United States continue to range up to U.S. $11.75 per 100 pounds (cwt) for farmers dressed product. Markets for oil-type sunflower were little changed on the week; while confectionary grower bids were unchanged, with new crop maintaining massive premiums to spot. Canadian canaryseed inched up slightly in both spot and new crop shipping positions. With the Canadian dollar holding slightly above parity with the U.S. dollar, higher canaryseed grower bids is having a bullish impact one export asking prices.
