Manufactured Egg Use RisesWASHINGTON - May 30/08 - SNS -- Shell eggs broken totaled 177 million dozen during April 2008, up 13% from April a year ago, and 9% above the 163 million broken last month, according to the USDA. During calendar year 2008 through April, shell eggs broken totaled 663 million dozen, up 5% from the comparable period in 2007.
