USDA Buys 11,560 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - May 29/08 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 11,560 metric tons (MT) of whole and split yellow peas for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 058C, the pulses packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from interior plants between June 17 to July 8 and between July 9 to July 30 for plants located at port.
