Australia -- South Australia Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - May 15/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. For the rest of today and Saturday. WARNING SUMMARY: A Gale Warning is current for the Far West, West, South Central and South East Coasts and southern Spencer Gulf. A Strong Wind Warning is current for the remainder of Gulf Waters, including the Adelaide Metropolitan Waters. An Advice to Sheep Graziers is current. SOUTH AUSTRALIA: A front near Ceduna to Robe is expected near Broken Hill around 9pm tonight. Rain over southern agricultural areas near and west of the front. Scattered showers elsewhere over the agricultural areas and the far south of the Pastoral districts, with isolated showers extending into the Pastoral Districts south of about Leigh Creek. Moderate to fresh northwest winds ahead of the front, strong at times in the south, turning cooler, fresh to strong and squally southwest behind the change, moderating later on Saturday. Isolated thunder and small hail developing south of a line Ceduna to Hawker to Clare this afternoon and evening, moving eastwards to be southeast of Ceduna to Leigh Creek on Saturday morning and clearing east of the state during Saturday afternoon.
