Australia -- Queensland Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 12/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Queensland was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

IDQ1070001
WARNING SUMMARY
No warnings.
STATE FORECAST
for Monday night and Tuesday
Showers about the east coast, spreading over the eastern half of the state
during the afternoon. Isolated afternoon and evening thunderstorms over the
southeast interior. Fine elsewhere. Moderate to fresh S to SE winds along the
east coast, light to moderate SE to NE winds elsewhere.

and slipping out of the state on Friday. Only light to moderate rainfalls are

coastal districts on Saturday. Drier and cooler SW/SE winds will follow the
