Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 10/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Current Weather Situation and Future Developments
A high pressure system near Mt Gambier will drift slowly eastwards across
Victoria over the two few days, to reach the Tasman Sea by Tuesday. Meanwhile,
the next cold front will develop in the Indian Ocean and move eastwards across
the Bight to approach western Victoria Wednesday night.
Victoria
Sunday:       Drizzle patches in the south contracting to Gippsland during the
afternoon and  clearing by tonight. Isolated morning fogs. A cool to mild day,
mostly sunny north of the divide but areas of cloud in the south. Generally
light winds.
UV Index:     1- 2 [Low]
Monday:       Fine apart from morning fog patches. A cool to mild mostly sunny
day.
Tuesday:      Fine apart from morning fog patches. A cool to mild day.
Wednesday:    Fine apart from morning fog patches in the east. A cool to mild
