DES MOINES - May 9/08 - SNS -- The latest weekly summary of hog by-product markets values was released by the USDA today.

WEEKLY USDA BY-PRODUCT DROP VALUE (HOG)
The offal value from a typical slaughter hog (1) for the
week ended 5/9/2008 was estimated at 4.47 per cwt live, down
-0.03 when compared to last week.
