Mixed Week on Field Pea MarketVANCOUVER - May 2/08 - SNS -- The world's field pea markets registered a mixed performance during the past week, with North American values holding steady, while European markets continued to ease. Stocks in both regions are relatively tight, with Canada having shipped more than three-quarters of all peas expected to be moved this season during the first seven months. While exports eased in March and April, they seem to be picking up steam with five vessels already nominated to lift product from both Vancouver and Thunder Bay this month.
