Canada's Weekly Exports Total 430,800 MTWINNIPEG - May 2/08 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 21,223,400 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 285,600 MT from the 21,509,000 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending April 27. Grower deliveries during the week included 174,200 MT of wheat; 34,100 MT of durum; 43,100 MT of oats; 112,600 MT of barley; 9,800 MT of flax; 112,700 MT of canola; 6,000 MT of peas; and 5,300 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 430,800 MT. On the grain side this included including 212,400 MT of wheat; 16,800 MT of durum; 56,300 MT of oats; 42,700 MT of barley; and 300 MT of corn.
