Australia -- Victoria Weather UpdateMELBOURNE - May 1/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology. Warning Summary Strong wind warnings have been issued for all Victorian coastal waters. Current Weather Situation and Future Developments A cold front will pass through southern Victoria during Friday. A high pressure system will move from South Australia to New South Wales on Saturday before drifting eastwards on Sunday as another cold front approaches southwestern Victoria. The cold front will then move through southern Victoria on Monday. Victoria Tonight and Friday: Patchy rain over the far east clearing tonight. Isolated showers in the north tending to drizzle patches about the northern slopes. Isolated showers on and south of the Divide becoming scattered on Friday with isolated thunderstorms developing. A cool day with moderate to fresh northwesterly winds tending west to southwesterly and strengthening near the coast.
