Few Changes in Birdseed Markets
VANCOUVER - Apr 25/08 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets were mostly unchanged in light trade during the past week.
Markets remain focussed on seeding intentions for Canada and the United States, helped by the intended 15,000 acre reduction in Canadian seedings for a forecast 425,000 acres.
The reduction should allow ending stocks to decline to relatively low levels by the summer of 2009.
