Field Pea Markets EaseVANCOUVER - Apr 25/08 - SNS -- International field pea markets finished the week's trading on an easier note, with grower and inter-dealer markets in North America and Europe posting week over week declines. Forecasts of a record field pea area in Canada was not helpful to the market tone, even though traders remain confident human consumption demand will be strong in 2008-09. However, with prices at levels which discourage feeding peas to livestock, markets cannot tolerate any disruptions in human consumption demand.
