Few Changes in Field PeasVANCOUVER - Apr 4/08 - SNS -- Field pea markets were little changed in light trading interest during the past week. Markets were not surprised by the USDA seeding intentions estimates, which reveal growers in the United States plan to reduce field pea area 4% to 820,000 acres. A return to average yields would see production drop 16% to 596,000 metric tons (MT), which is not enough peas to sustain current export and domestic usage levels.
