Canada's Weekly Exports Total 511,500 MTWINNIPEG - Apr 3/08 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 18,551,800 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 222,400 MT from the 18,774,200 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending March 30. Grower deliveries during the week included 214,200 MT of wheat; 41,100 MT of durum; 30,800 MT of oats; 63,700 MT of barley; 11,400 MT of flax; 170,900 MT of canola; 12,500 MT of peas; and 15,700 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 511,500 MT. On the grain side this included including 275,500 MT of wheat; 21,600 MT of durum; 18,200 MT of oats; 4,500 MT of barley; and 13,700 MT of corn.
