Limited Fresh Demand NewsCHICAGO - Apr 2/08 - SNS -- International agriculture commodity markets were generally quiet at mid-week, with little fresh demand news to temper speculation about future crop production and demand prospects for major grains and oilseeds. Wheat futures markets in Europe were bolstered by yesterday's uptick in U,.AS. futures markets. The May Paris milling wheat contract finished overnight trade Euros 0.50 higher at Euros 210.50 MT. Exporters in the United States report selling 120,000 MT of soft red wheat for delivery to Egypt during the 2008-09 marketing year and 226,000 MT of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2007-08 marketing year. In revealing the business, the USDA said exporters in that country are required to report to USDA any export sales activity of 100,000 MT or more of one commodity, made in one day to one destination, by 3:00 p.m. Eastern time on the next business day following the sale. Export sales of less than these quantities must be reported to USDA on a weekly basis. Subscribers can read the full text of the article by Clicking here
