India Tenders for 69,000 MT Pulses
NEW DELHI - Mar 30/08 - SNS -- India's MMTC Ltd. will tender April 2 to buy 69,000 metric tons (MT) of pulses for various shipments periods in the spring, summer and fall.
The tender covers 6,000 MT of Pigeon Peas (Arhar/Toor)(Lemon) for delivery in April and May; 6,000 MT of Black Matpe (Urad)(FAQ/SQ) for shipment in April and May; 35,000 MT of Canadian Yellow Peas for shipment between September and November; and 22,000 MT of French Yellow Peas for shipment in July and August.
Pulses tendered can be offered either in Bulk, Bags or Loose in Containers. Pulses offered in bags shall be packed in new 50 KGs seaworthy Jute/PP bags of uniform quality and weight capable to withstand 50 KGs net weight and capable of withstanding multiple handling. 2% empty extra bags to be supplied free of cost, along with the cargo.
