Bearish Sentiment Affects Birdseeds
VANCOUVER - Mar 21/08 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets were unable to escape the bearish sentiment which swept across international field crop markets.
While white proso millet and confectionary sunflower markets escape unchanged, oil-type sunflower dropped in both current and new crop shipping positions in sympathy with reduced soybean and canola futures values.
Canadian canaryseed was also sharply lower on the week in both grower and inter-dealer markets.
