Pea and Lentil Tenders Reach 4,110 MT
KANSAS CITY - Mar 19/08 - STAT -- The quantity of peas and lentils covered by USDA PL-480 food aid tenders this season now totals 131,870 MT, compared to 140,420 MT last year.
Purchases of green peas are down 8,600 MT at 14,870 MT versus 23,470 MT last season. Food aid demand for U.S. regular lentils is up 7,770 MT from last year's 46,960 MT.
