Weekly Canadian Crush Jumps
WINNIPEG - Mar 14/08 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 80,354 metric tons (MT) of canola and 28,505 of soybeans during the week ending March 5.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush rose 3.8%, after declining for two weeks. Soybean crush jumped 50.6%, ending three weeks of falling activity.
