Field Peas Continue To StrengthenVANCOUVER - Feb 29/08 - SNS -- Field pea markets continued to strengthen during the past week in both Canada and the United States against good demand and steadily shrinking domestic supplies. Export movement from both Canada and the United States have been strong so far this season, a fact reflected in tighter than normal December 31 stocks in all positions in Canada. Markets remain confident field pea area will increase in North America, but expect area to shrink across Europe in favor of spring grains.
