SPRINGFIELD - Feb 27/08 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the eastern cornbelt in the United States.

Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 02/23/2008

Organic grain and feedstuff prices were higher compared to
two weeks ago.  Feed grade corn and soybeans were higher. Wheat
prices were not established.  Demand was moderate for light offerings.
Lack of producer selling and tight supplies continue to support
organic feed ingredients.  Due to higher prices end users were active
only purchasing grain to meet nearby needs.
Monthly and 4th quarter averages of organic prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
