Dairy Product Markets MixedWASHINGTON - Feb 15/08 - SNS -- Dairy product markets in the United States finished the week ending February 9 with mixed results, shows this USDA statistics. Cheddar Cheese prices realized for US 40 pound Blocks averaged $1.73 per pound. The price per pound gained $1.73 from the previous week. The price for US 500 pound Barrels adjusted to 38% moisture averaged $1.84 per pound, down 1.5 cents versus last week. Butter prices paid for 25 kilogram and 68 pound boxes meeting USDA Grade AA standards averaged $1.21 per pound. The U.S. price per pound gained $1.21 versus the previous week. Nonfat Dry Milk prices realized for bag, tote and tanker sales meeting USDA Extra Grade or USPH Grade A standards averaged $1.38 per pound. The U.S. price per pound rose $1.38 from the previous week.
