Stocks Report Supports CanaryseedVANCOUVER - Feb 9/08 - SNS -- Canadian canaryseed markets were given some support form the Statistics Canada stocks in all positions report. It found there was 191,000 metric tons (MT) of canaryseed on hand at the end of December, down from 220,000 the previous year. Inferred disappearance came was down 11,800 MT at 92,000 MT, or about a third of available supplies. The previous five year average usage level for the August through December period was 30.9%. Sunflower stocks were down 37,000 MT at 81,000. Inferred disappearance was 69,200 MT or an above average 46.1% of stocks.
