Last Stage of Bull Market Underway?VANCOUVER - Feb 9/08 - SNS -- Specialty crops markets appear to be climbing into the final stages of a classic bull markets, with prices for some products leaping to levels which should begin to constrain demand. This week's December 31 stocks in all positions report helped give markets the extra push they needed, with the confirmation field peas and lentil have disappeared into commercial markets at an unprecedented rate. Statistics Canada's stocks in all positions report reveals commercial markets have already consumed 55.4% of all lentils and 53.5% of all field peas that were available to fill all demand needs during the 2007-08 marketing year.
