Strong Finish in BirdseedsVANCOUVER - Feb 1/08 - SNS -- Birdseed ingredient markets were generally stronger during the past week, with values advancing on Canadian canaryseed and North American sunflower markets. Confectionary sunflower and white proso millet were unchanged in the United States on the week, while oil-type sunflower and Canadian canaryseed finished stronger on both inter-dealer and grower markets. Canaryseed processors in western Canada are looking forward to Statistics Canada's December 31 stocks in all positions.
