Lentil Price Records Still FallingVANCOUVER - Feb 1/08 - SNS -- North American lentil markets continued to advance as quantities available from growers remain behind the short terms needs of processors and exporters. Canadian red lentils were unchanged on the week, while green lentils were firmer. All classes of North American lentils were at or near their historic highs on inter-dealer markets during the week. Canadian markets expect Tuesday's Statistics Canada stocks in all positions report to show the impact of a significantly stronger than normal export pace in the August through December period.
