Canada's Weekly Exports Total 461,700 MTWINNIPEG - Feb 1/08 - STAT -- Export clearances of all grains and oilseeds shipped from Canada total 14,822,100 metric tons (MT) so far this marketing year down 308,000 MT from the 15,130,100 moved last year. The latest report from the Canadian Grain Commission (CGC) summarized weekly product movement through licensed primary and terminal elevator facilities for the week ending January 27. Grower deliveries during the week included 214,200 MT of wheat; 65,200 MT of durum; 36,000 MT of oats; 114,500 MT of barley; 8,000 MT of flax; 214,800 MT of canola; 31,100 MT of peas; and 12,600 MT of corn. The CGC pegged total exports during the week at 461,700 MT. On the grain side this included including 179,900 MT of wheat; 49,600 MT of durum; 13,400 MT of oats; 91,700 MT of barley; and 600 MT of corn.
