MELBOURNE - Feb 1/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Strong wind warning for coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Walpole and from
Bremer Bay to Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Friday    evening
In the Kimberley and Pilbara: Scattered showers and thunderstorms.
Interior, northern Goldfields, eastern Eucla, inland Gascoyne, inland Central
West and the north of the Central Wheat Belt: Isolated showers and squally
thunderstorms.
South and Southeast Coastal Districts: Areas of coastal drizzle.
Forecast for Saturday
Along the south coast: Areas of morning drizzle.
In the remainder of the state: Fine in coastal parts of the Gascoyne and Central
West, the southeastern Goldfields and western Eucla. Isolated showers and
squally thunderstorms throughout remaining parts, tending scattered in the
Pilbara and Kimberley in the afternoon.
