Records Falling For Canadian PeasVANCOUVER - Jan 25/08 - SNS -- Record continue to fall on Canadian field pea markets, with grower bids for large and small yellow peas setting new record highs during the week. Green peas remained at the psychologically important CDN $10 per bushel or $367 per metric ton (MT) level for farmers dressed product delivered western Canadian processing plants. Whole yellow peas closed the gap with greens, advancing from $9.25 to a new record $9.75 per bushel or $358.25 MT for farmers dressed product delivered western Canadian processing plants.
