USDA Buys 630 MT Peas
KANSAS CITY - Jan 24/08 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here confirmed the purchase of 630 metric tons (MT) of split yellow peas for shipment as food aid.
Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 018A, the pulses were bought packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from interior plants February 16 and March 9 and between March 9 and 28 for plants located at port. The peas are for shipment to Guinea.
