Reduced South African Bean AreaVANCOUVER - Jan 24/08 - SNS -- Pulse production levels in South Africa will be lower than initially expected, judging from the latest crop production estimates from the South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS). While lupin production for the 2007-08 marketing year's winter season was left unchanged, the summer season's dry edible bean area is smaller than expected.
