New Record Bids in Canadian Peas
VANCOUVER - Jan 18/08 - SNS -- Canadian field pea markets established new record highs at the grower level for both whole yellow and green peas during the week.
Green peas broke through the psychologically important CDN $10 per bushel or $367 per metric ton (MT) for farmers dressed product delivered interior processing plants.
Whole yellow peas continue to lag greens, but with posted bids a record at $9.25 per bushel or $340 MT the chase is on.
