Weekly Canadian Crush Up
WINNIPEG - Jan 18/08 -- STAT -- The Canadian Oilseed Processors Association (COPA) reports weekly crush in that country totalled 81,562 metric tons (MT) of canola and 26,954 of soybeans during the week ending January 16.
The numbers, as reported to the association by member firms, show canola crush rose 5.9%, for a second weekly gain. Soybean crush was up 33.3%, ending four weeks of decreasing activity.
