Busy Undertone in World Ag MarketsCHICAGO - Jan 3/08 - SNS -- Agriculture commodity markets retained a relatively busy under tone despite the lack of major sales news. Traders are getting ready, however, for wheat import tenders by both Pakistan and Bangladesh. Markets continue to pay some attention to weather in the United States and elsewhere. The recent cold snap in the U.S. is not expected to cause significant damage to over wintering crops, with forecasters looking for temperatures to rise sharply in the plains region by the weekend. Latin American weather conditions are improving, with scattered rains reported across Argentina; and Brazilian traders saying weather conditions look favorable, with cooler weather expected by the weekend in southern crop districts.
