SPRINGFIELD - Jan 2/08 - SNS -- Bi-weekly USDA report on organic grain and feedstuffs prices in the eastern cornbelt in the United States.

Weighted Average Report for Week Ending 12/29/2007

Organic grain and feedstuff prices were mostly higher compared
to two weeks ago.  Soybeans prices were higher and corn was steady.
The holiday season contributed to the decline in trading activity.
Strong buying interest and tight supplies helped to drive soybean
prices higher. Corn and wheat was steady on good demand.
Monthly and 3rd quarter averages of organic prices located below.
All prices FOB the farm and negotiated spot market.
