MELBOURNE - Jan 1/08 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Fire Weather Warning for Central West district and the Mortlock and Ninghan sub
districts of the Central Wheat Belt.
Fire weather warning for the Shire of East Pilbara [South].
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Naturaliste to Walpole this
afternoon.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Albany to Israelite Bay for
Wednesday.
Forecast for Tuesday   evening
Kimberley, inland Pilbara and the northern and western Gascoyne: Isolated
showers and thunderstorms.
Central West and the Central Wheatbelt: Isolated showers and thunderstorms.
Lower West, northern Great Southern and SW Goldfields: Cloudy with isolated
light showers.
Fine through the remainder of the state.
Forecast for Wednesday
Kimberley, inland Pilbara and the western Gascoyne: Isolated showers and
thunderstorms, mostly afternoon and evening.
SW Land Division: Cloudy, with isolated thundery showers developing in all but
northern parts, contracting to SW of a line Mandurah to Hopetoun in the
afternoon. Only light falls expected.
Far SW Goldfields: Isolated thundery showers, clearing early morning.
