Few Changes in Edible BeansVANCOUVER - Dec 21/07 - SNS -- Dry edible bean markets were little changed in light pre holiday season trade in Canada and the United States. Most traders will be off week much of the period through January 3. North America's spot market index for dry edible beans finished the week at 1075, up 11 points from the previous week and compared to 870 at this time last year. The grower index finished unchanged at 989, versus 762 at this time last year. The grower share of the weighted average dealer price for beans now stands at 82.3%, up 3 points from last week and up 5.0 points from this time last year.
