Rabi Season Crop Worries
VANCOUVER - Dec 21/07 - SNS -- Field pea and chickpea markets continue to pay close attention to the evolving rabi or winter crop seeding situation in India and Pakistan.
The primary winter pulse producing regions received below normal rainfall during the monsoon season and have been unusually dry since.
Dry conditions seems to have affecting interest in sowing pulses, despite strong domestic markets. Little or no precipitation is in the forecast through then end of the month, adding to the bullish fever on world markets.
