November Crude VegOil Output SlipsWASHINGTON - Dec 20/07 - SNS -- Crude vegetable oil production in the United States was down from the previous month during November, but was up from the same month last year, judging from data compiled by the U.S. Bureau of Census. For the first eleven months of the year, decreases were recorded for cottonseed, while soybean and corn output are above 2006. Crude soybean oil output was pegged at 18,833 million pounds for the year, up from 18,648 million in 2006; while corn oil output rose from 2,320 million to 2,343 million pounds and cotton seed oil fell from 834 to 777 million pounds. The Census Bureau said oilseed crushers processed 4,699,366 short tons of soybeans in November, compared to 4,920,338 tons the previous month. The month ended with 3,041.452 million pounds of soybean oil on hand, including 2,711.062 million pounds of crude and 330.69 million pounds of refined oil.
