Record Pace for Canadian Canola CrushOTTAWA - Dec 20/07 - SNS -- Canadian canola crush is on pace to establish a new record for the year, judging from the latest monthly data from Statistics Canada. Canadian oilseed processors report crushing a record 363,313 metric tons (MT) of canola in November. Oil production in November totalled 149,816 MT, while meal production amounted to 218,735 MT. This lifted crush for the marketing year to 1.368 million MT, up from 1,216 million during the same period last year and above the 1,096 million MT crushed the first four months of the 2005-06 marketing year.
