U.S. Birdseed Markets FirmVANCOUVER - Dec 7/07 - SNS -- North American birdseed ingredient markets posted a mixed finish under seasonally light trading. Recent weakness in the Canadian dollar allowed asking prices on Canadian dealer markets to ease during the week; while U,S. white proso millet markets were unchanged and sunflower stronger. Oil-type sunflower markets rose in sympathy with soybeans, which finished the week at over $11 per bushel on the March futures and over $10.50 in new crop shipping positions.
