Turkey Slashes Grain Import DutiesWASHINGTON - Dec 3/07 - SNS -- Turkey slashed imports duties on a wide range of primary grains in an effort to encourage imports, reports the U,S. agricultural attache for the country. Effective immediately, import duties on milling wheat and corn were reduced from 130% to 8% and 35% respectively. The duty on soybeans was lowered from 10 to 8%.
