Modest Gain in South African PulsesVANCOUVER - Nov 30/07 - SNS -- Pulse production levels in South Africa stand a good chance of rising slightly from initial forecasts on improving yields for winter seeded lupins and no change in intended area for this season's summer crop of dry edible beans. The South African Grain Information Service (SAGIS) is looking for the lupin harvest to come in around 13,300 metric tons (MT) from 14,000 hectares, up from last month's 11,200 MT forecast from the same seeded area.
