Rising Red Meat InventoriesWASHINGTON - Nov 21/07 - SNS -- Total red meat supplies in freezers rose 19 million pounds in October to 1009.7 million pounds, up 2% from the previous year, notes the USDA in its latest report on agricultural products in cold storage. Frozen pork supplies rose 12 million pounds during the month to 496.3 million pounds, up almost 8 million pounds from the previous year. Stocks of pork bellies were up 19% from last month at 20.3 million pounds and up 30% from last year.
