USDA Tenders for 9,560 MT PulsesKANSAS CITY - Nov 20/07 - SNS -- The USDA's Commodity Credit Corporation office here is seeking offers of 9,560 metric tons (MT) of pulses for shipment as food aid. Two tenders were issued. The first is looking for 200 MT of dry edible beans; while the second tender is seeking offers of 690 MT of dry edible beans; 5,140 MT of yellow split peas; 1,500 MT of whole yellow peas; and 2,030 MT of lentils. Under terms of USDA PL-480 food aid tender invitation 117C, the USDA is buying 200 MT of beans packed in 50 kg bags for shipment from interior plants between December 16 and January 6 and between January 7 and 28 for plants located at port.
