French Field Pea Exports StumbleVANCOUVER - Nov 19/07 - SNS -- Field pea exports from France sank during September, dropping well below both month and year earlier levels. Data from the Union Nationale Interprofessionnelle des Plantes Riches en Proteines (UNIP) revealed exporters shipped 19,320 metric tons (MT) of peas in September, down from 39,065 MT in August and down 37.1% the 30,735 MT of field peas shipped the same month last year. This lifted exports clearances so far during the 2007-08 marketing campaign to 71,140 MT, down 34.8% from the 109,125 MT shipped the first three months of the previous marketing year.
